She was predeceased by: her father Robert Meade; and her grandfathers, Michael Lombardi and John Meade. She is survived by: her mother Ava Lombardi-Meade; her sister Megan Meade; her brother-in-law Patrick Sheehy; and her grandmothers, Joanne Lombardi-Borrus (Jules Borrus) and Maylou Meade. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
As a tribute to Samantha's great love for animals and in lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter in East Hanover, New Jersey in her honor.
