He was predeceased by: his father Jack Purkey; and his sister Karen Purkey. He is survived by: his mother Sheila Purkey (Lowder); his sister Susan Smetona; his brother-in-law Matthew Smetona; his nephew Elliott Smetona; his stepfather Rob Baen; his sisters, Amanda Purkey and Jennifer Purkey; his nephew Kayeden Purkey; and his cousin Tom Purkey.
A burial was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (2398 Marlton Pike W, Cherry Hill Township, NJ 08002).
