She was predeceased by: her parents, Marjorie Julia Pruitt-Brown and Ellsworth Leon Hopkins; her husband David Meddaugh; her granddaughter Tatiana Diaz; and her sister Ella Mae "Cynthia" Bryant.
She is survived by: her children, Monique Diaz (Tony), Keith Evans and Olivia McDonald (Antonio); her foster son Jeremy Jackson; her grandchildren, Tonesha Diaz-Nwachukwu (Chukwudi), Estevan Sevilla, Keith Evans Jr., Tony Diaz Jr., Malique Diaz, Oberron Evans-El, Zeki Evans-El, Brice Evans, Oaklyn McDonald and Amir McDonald; her stepdaughter Dana Gaines (John); her grandchildren, Christopher Collins II (Talisha), Christian Collins (Tykia), Dana-Rene'Gaines and DeJanae Hargrove (Jaymes); and her siblings, Pandoria King, Rosetta Brown-DeJesus (Candido), Yalonda Brown Cain, Charisse Johnson (Andrew) and Jesse Brown (Sharon). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, foster children, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Frederick Health Hospice General Fund in loving memory of Leona Meddaugh.
