With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sarah Nafeesa Muhammad of Camden, New Jersey, who passed away on January 20, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wali Q Mohammed; her parents, Mary Ray and Paul Ray; and her brothers, Paul Ray, Anthony Ray, Edward Ray, Melvin Ray, Alfred Ray (Bilal) and James Ray (Hassan).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Islam and Muslim; her son Al-Mubdi Muhammad (Deen); her grandchildren, Aiesha Muhammad, Jabril Muhammad and Zaakira Muhammad; her daughter-in-law Renee Muhammad; and her siblings, Mary Holmes, William Ray, Queen Esther, Rosa Adkins and Ruth Hamilton. She is also survived by her son, grandchildren, family and friends.
