It is with sadness that the passing of Dan Matthews (Cape May, New Jersey) is shared. Dan, born on June 12, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on July 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Margaret; his son David; and his siblings, Betty, Ann, Ruthie, Peggy, Bobby and Joseph (Bud).

He is survived by: his son Michael Matthews (Colleen); his granddaughter Alexandra; his great grandchild Banks; his grandson Vance; his son Aaron; his grandson Jaylin; his son Demetrius Tirado; his grandsons, Michael Austin and Shane Wellem; his great grandchild Isabella; Sarah. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made towards food for repast.
