He is survived by: his wife Joan Hunter of Cape May; his children, John Hunter (Wendy) of Delray, FL, Janet Hunter of Pittsburgh, Doug Hunter (Patty) of Pittsburgh, PA, Jill Healy (Joe) of Quakertown, PA and Ross Hunter (Cherise) of Rapid City, SD.; his grandchildren, John Hunter III (Carly), Hank Hunter (Hannah), Shane Hunter, Hunter, Maureen Healy, Samantha DiPippa, Toni Marie DiPippa, Leah DiPippa, Blake Collins, Logan, Henley, Nolan and Hallie Hunter; and his brother Robert (Doris).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:25 AM at the Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church (525 Washington St, Cape May, NJ 08204, USA). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
