With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne Roop (Cape May, New Jersey), who passed away on December 29, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Roop and Hope LaBlanc; and his brothers, Edward Roop and Laurence Roop. He is survived by: his wife Jane Hecht Roop; his children, Eric, Shannon and Andrew; his granddaughter Melissa; his sisters, Dawn Andrus (Bruce), Carol Meehan (John) and Meg Huf; his nieces, Heather and Heidi; his nephew Stephen; Wayne, Carrie (John), Brody, David (Colleen), Bryan, Frankie and Benny. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
