He was predeceased by: his siblings, Patrick Cunningham and Mary Piazza; and his parents, Frances Cunningham and Joseph Cunningham. He is survived by: his children, Heather and Kelly Cunningham; his sisters, Margaret "Peggy" Ramsay and Cathy Lusk; his godson Franklin Wester (Meghan); his niece Meghan Hotchkiss; his nephew Matthew Ramsay (Emmie); his great-niece Margot Ramsay; his nephew Joseph Lusk; and also, Franklin and Shannon.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kimak Funeral Home (425 Broad St, Carlstadt, NJ 07072). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Joe's memory to the VA NJ Health Care System, Lyons Campus, 151 Knollcroft Rd., Lyons, NJ 07939, ATTN: Voluntary Service (135LY) and please designate (8886) Palliative Care Program, an organization that held him dear to their heart.
