He was predeceased by : his parents, David Watkins Sr. and Rebecca Watkins (Hagan); his birth mother Shirley Fogg; his brother William Watkins; and his nephew Charles Ayars.

He is survived by : his wife Suzanne (Wilson); his children, Jennifer Watkins and Bruce Jr. (Katrina); his grandchildren, Joshua David, Rebecka Elayne and Baylei Marie; and his siblings, Michael Watkins, Rogene Geroulo (Watkins), Debbie Robinson (Ed), Patricia Watkins, Thomas Watkins (Carol) and David Watkins. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
