She was predeceased by: her parents, Artemesia Gills (Nee Sickler) and Harold Downs; and her husband Earl M Atkinson. She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Bunting (Nee Atkinson) and Sherry Atkinson; her sisters, Peggy Mesmer (Dave), JoAnn Heckman (Ron) and Anne Marie Fowler (Chuck); her grandchildren, Tim Bunting and Kelly Bernhardt (Marcus); and her great grandchildren, MJ and Eli Bernhardt. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Union Presbyterian Church.
