He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond P Burt Jr. and Anna Maria Burt; and his nephew David Compton. He is survived by: his siblings, Raymond P Burt III, Maureen (William), Kathleen (Philadelphia Flyers), Eileen, Anne Marie (Joseph) and Joan (Kris); his nephews, Tracey (Christine), Patrick, Ryan (Jennifer) and Lauren; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Tyler, Olivia, Tessa, Gianna, Ava, Joseph, Andrew, Declan and Anna.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (1 Fatima Dr, Secane, PA 19018).
