Marietta R. Cooley Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 1, 2023, at the age of 79, Marietta R. Cooley (Carneys Point, New Jersey), born in Berlin, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Margarete Dorn (Conradt) and Karl K. Dorn; and her sister-in-law Ingrid Dorn. She is survived by : her daughter Claudia I. Cooley of Pennsville, NJ; her brother Rainer Dorn; her nephew Martin Dorn (Andrea); her niece Corinna Harden; her close friend Barbara Wright (Linda Cates) of Woodstown, NJ; and her pet Moxie. She is also survived by two great niece's and one great nephew.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Marietta's name to: The American Legion Ambulance Association, 32 Maple Court, Woodstown, NJ 08098 OR The Pink Clover Foundation, 754 Asbury Avenue, Ocean City, NJ 08226 "Don't wait until tomorrow, hug your loved ones today".

“Sadly I am just learning of Marietta’s passing & I am deeply saddened. had been trying to “find” her on Facebook for some time but her profile was pretty private so I didn’t have much luck. I connected just tonight with someone we worked with who told me the sad news & I found this obituary. I’m quite brokenhearted that I won’t get to share my message with Marietta in person but I would so like her family to know how much she meant to young girl just starting her career 30 years ago.
