Edith Villanova Capatch Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Villanova Capatch of Cedar Grove, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on November 7, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sister-in-law Lucille DeFranza; her sister Jean Volpe; and her stepson Rich Cabot. She is survived by: her former husband Rocco Villanova; her husband Dick Capatch; her granddaughter Edith; her children, Gary Villanova (Mary Birmingham), Kathy Papera (Ron) and Karen Fitzpatrick (Michael); her grandchildren, Kate (Alex Stone), Patrick, Lydia, Chrisann, Ryan, Meghan (Richie Hyden), Emily and Claire; her brother Rocco Guerrera (Marianne); and her stepchildren, Jeff Cabot (Yvonne), Kathy Higgins (Brian) and Carol Capatch. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
