He was predeceased by: his father Robert LaCapra; and his siblings, Nancy LaCapra, Nanette Rotonda (Joseph), Donna LaCapra and Johnine LaCapra.
He is survived by: his wife Antoinette; his children, Frank LaCapra, Jr. (Jennifer), James LaCapra, Sr. and Carla Guglielmi (Michael); his daughter-in-law Jodi; his grandchildren, Grace, Jane, James Jr., Jake, Jianna, Michael and Téa; his mother Marietta LaCapra; his sister-in-law Judith Frasso; and his uncles, Johnny and Vinnie. He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home (486 Pompton Ave, Cedar Grove, NJ 07009). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Holy Angels (473 Main St, Little Falls Township, NJ 07424).
