Chris Cibelli wrote a sympathy message

“I did a lot of hunting with Gerald when I was a kid, he knew my whole family from Newark, but was good friends with my uncle Louis Portella. They would pick me up early with the beagles and we hunted sometimes all day in Hunterdon county. I was much younger than Gerald but remember he was a really cool guy. May he rest in peace, and thank you for the great memories. Chris Cibelli”
