He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bannon and Barbara Bannon. He is survived by: his wife Jean C. Bannon; his children, John C. Bannon (Diane), Allison Calabrese (Frank) and Joseph T. Bannon (Dana); his grandchildren, Matthew, Sarah, Justin, Anthony, Thomas, Ava and Adelina; and his brother Kevin Bannon.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home (486 Pompton Ave, Cedar Grove, NJ 07009). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Catherine of Siena Church (339 Pompton Ave, Cedar Grove, NJ 07009).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to the organization he served with such pride.
