He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Pomponio and Concetta Pomponio; his wife Maria Pomponio; and his siblings, Gerengildo "Gene" Pomponio, Josephine Silvassey and Philomena Pepe.
He is survived by: his children, Laura DeMartin and Anthony P. Pomponio; his grandchildren, Matthew DeMartin and Maria Pomponia; and his siblings, Leanora Pepe, Theresa Pomponio and Izia Nicosia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
