She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Gebhardt and Louise Gebhardt. She is survived by: her husband John Buechel Sr.; her children, John Buechel Jr. (Donna), Lynn Lillis (Keith) and Dyann Simone (Ben Haughney); her grandchildren, John Buechel III, Stephanie Vislosky, Thomas Buechel, Nick Lillis, Hunter Lillis, Alexis Lillis, Tyler Lillis and Mikayla Simone; her great grandchildren, Lily Vislosky, Lucas Vislosky, Jameson John Lillis (JJ) and Sofia Buechel; and her sister Loree Titone.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home (486 Pompton Ave, Cedar Grove, NJ 07009). A prayer will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home, Inc. (486 Pompton Ave, Cedar Grove, NJ 07009).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Linda Buechel's memory to her Hospice care Atlantic Visiting Nurse, 465 South Street, Suite 100A, Morristown, NJ 07960 in appreciation of the care and comfort provided to her and her family.
