In the sacred silence of farewell, Mitre is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Mitre's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Velika Kotevska; his children, Stojan (Lidija) and Rose (Constantine); his grandchildren, Harry, Victoria, Nikola and Michelle; and his child Macedonia. He was also cherished by nine great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home (486 Pompton Ave, Cedar Grove, NJ 07009). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sts. Kiril and Metodij Macedonian Orthodox Church (1050 Pompton Ave, Cedar Grove, NJ 07009).
