With sadness, we share the passing of Monica Sirotnak of Cedar Grove, New Jersey. Monica, born on May 4, 1932, passed away on September 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Monica for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Monica’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences she brought to the world.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Walako and Anna Walako; and her husband Joseph Sirotnak. She is survived by: her daughter Michele Wall (William Wall Jr.); her grandchildren, William Wall III and Meghan Ilingi (Onur); and her siblings, Theresa Migliozzi, John Walako and Suzanne Kouvel. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home (486 Pompton Ave, Cedar Grove, NJ 07009). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
