He was predeceased by: his parents, Jan Theodoor and Henriette Helder; and his brother Theodore Helder. He is survived by: his children, Marlitt S. Bilcik (Valentine) of Nanuet, NY, Danielle Helder of Cedar Grove, NJ and Kevin R. Helder (Jennifer) of Wharton, NJ; his siblings, Irene Meynhardt and William Steendam; his grandchildren, James, Julia Bilcik, Derek and Travis Helder; and his siblings' children, John, Carl, Fred Helder, Christina Amato, Raymond and Robert Meynhardt.
In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for memorial gifts to Lustgarten Foundation: Pancreatic Cancer Research or Second Chance Pet Adoption League, Oak Ridge, NJ.
