We announce the death of Irene Lebron Torres of Cedar Knolls, New Jersey, who passed away on September 23, 2026. Irene will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Juana Díaz and Anacleto Lebrón; her son Raymond Torres; and her grandson Ozzie Gonzalez. She is survived by: her children, Wilma Sierra, Arlene Torres and Nelson Torres (Melinda); her stepdaughter Mildred Torres; her grandchildren, Marlon, Jillian, Pedro, Giselle and Daniella; and her great grandchildren, Penelope and Grayson. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and their extended families.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Dangler Funeral Home (600 Speedwell Ave, Morris Plains, NJ 07950). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mount Carmel Church (75 Ridgedale Ave, Cedar Knolls, NJ 07927). An entombment was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Hollywood Memorial Park (1500 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ 07083).
