He was predeceased by: his siblings, George Hajjar and Daad Hajjar. He is survived by: his wife Mae; his children, Nicole Takla (Michael) of Florham Park and Paul Hajjar (Jennifer) of Hoboken; his grandchildren, Ryan, Joseph Takla, Max and Josephine Hajjar; his sisters, Lydia Abou Rjeily of Michigan, Marie Ferzli of Lebanon and Ghaida Hajjar of Lebanon; his mother-in-law Josephine Hajjar; and his siblings-in-law, Melvin and Claudette Maher. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hancliffe Home For Funerals (222 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to St. Anthony Orthodox Church, 385 Ivy Lane, Bergenfield, NJ.
