We announce the death of Benjamin George Morris Jr. of Chatham, New Jersey, born in Orange, New Jersey, who passed away on October 23, 2026, at the age of 79. Benjamin will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin George Morris, Sr. and Lucette Carrias; and his siblings, Layne Morris and Sharon Bardes. He is survived by: his spouse Leslie Gueci; his children, Jocelyn O'Brien (Chad) and Kathryn Miller (Matthew); and his grandchildren, Adalyn Miller, Keira O'Brien and Tristan O'Brien.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial (7 Summit Ave, Summit, NJ 07901). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Church (561 Springfield Ave, Summit, NJ 07901).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in memory of Ben to the Pancreatic Action Network (pancan.org).
