He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Cassak (Reinke) and Albert Cassak; and his siblings, Lance Cassak and Laurie Soroka (Cassak). He is survived by: his sister Laurie Cassak; his wife Nancy Yacker; his children, Evan Cassak and Amalya Cassak; and his nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Soroka, Kate Soroka, Colin Miller, Bryan Miller, Alaia Murua, Maialen Murua and David Frischer. He is also survived by family members and friends.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Congregation Beth Hatikvah (36 Chatham Rd, Summit, NJ 07901). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the B'Nai Abraham Memorial Park (2600 US-22 STE E, Union, NJ 07083).
