She was predeceased by: her husband Salem Hajjar; her son-in-law Akl; and her siblings, George, Jamil, Selma, Phillip, Shakeeb and Yvonne.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mae Hajjar (late Akl) and Claudette Maher (Melvin); her grandchildren, Nicole Takla (Michael), Maliad Maher (Michelle), Paul Hajjar (Jennifer) and Danielle Dunbar (Mathew); her great grandchildren, Ryan and Joseph Takla; and her grandchildren, Emma, Dylan Maher, Max, Josephine Hajjar, Noah and Shane Dunbar. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hancliffe Home For Funerals (222 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or St. Anthony Orthodox Church, 385 Ivy Lane, Bergenfield, NJ 07621.
