She was predeceased by: her husband Bruce Brodbeck; and her parents, Thomas Myers and Catherine Myers (Washington). She is survived by: her children, Susan Brodbeck Agnew, Cathleen Brodbeck (Kevin O'Connor), Kevin Brodbeck, Sheila Brodbeck (Miro Pasic), Elizabeth Mercogliano (Robert) and Meghan Kim (Johan); her grandsons, Patrick, Jack and Kevin Agnew; her children, Laila, Aidan, Gavin Pasic, Charlie, James Brodbeck, Sean, Drew Mercogliano, Connor, Grace and Emily Kim; and her siblings, Eileen Myers and James Myers (Debra). She is also survived by numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Prout Funeral Home (370 Bloomfield Ave, Verona, NJ 07044). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Lake Church (28 Lakeside Ave, Verona, NJ 07044).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Karen's memory to Our Lady of the Lake School via the OLL Fund (https://myoll.org.) in Verona would be appreciated.
