She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph V. Canal; and her parents, Paul Zachary and Anne Zachary of Camden. She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Mario (Maryann) and Paul (Joann); her grandchildren, Alexandra, Matthew, Michael, Christopher, Sean and Kaitlyn; and her brothers, Paul Zachary (Maryann) and Martin Zachary (Gail). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
