He was predeceased by: his siblings, Mary Musso, Jennie Juliano, Nicola Palumbi, Bianca Palumbi, Nicholas Palumbi and Gloria Ragone.

He is survived by: his children, Catharina E. Palumbi and Denise T. Beatty (James); his grandchildren, Michael DiMarco (Amie) and Taraysa Caulk (John); and his great grandchildren, Michael, Nathaniel, Easton and Leo.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers contributions in Gabriele's memory to the American Heart Association (http://www.heart.org.).
