He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn; and his parents, Eugene Girard and Gertrude Girard. He is survived by: his son Geoffrey; his daughter-in-law Mary Girard; his grandsons, Erich and Douglas Girard; his daughter Tracy; his son-in-law Mark Brotnitsky; and his brother Eugene.
