He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patricia D'Andrea; his daughters, Michelle Maloney (Kevin) of Michael D'Andrea and Stephanie D'Andrea; his brothers, Ron (Betty) and Ken (Laurie); and his parents, Hank D'Andrea and Dolli D'Andrea.

He was proud to be leading studies and research to find a cure for Alzheimer's disease.
