He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Moran and Veronica Moran. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dot" Ann Moran; his children, Patricia Ann Moran, Paul Andrew Moran (Nancy) and James Moran (Jozee Buccio); and his granddaughters, Anastasia Ferko, Mackenzie Ferko, Carley Moran and Emmie Moran.

“Norbie was an incredible person. Bright and charismatic. He was sharp as a tack, witty, and thoroughly kind, during the time i got to know him. I’ll never forget him or his family. He liked to talk about his time in the church and he loved his wife. When i’d ask him how his wife was, he would smile and thank me for asking about her. One of my last memories was him singing “she’ll be coming around the mountain”. He was truly one of a kind, a beautiful soul. I wish his family all the best. -Maddie”
