He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul A. Witting and Florence Witting (Neary); and his wives, Patricia Joan Witting (Reusser) and Sally Witting (Kantor). He is survived by: his children, Victoria Witting Lowell, Paul K. Witting (Marcella), Christopher Witting (Julia), Timothy Witting, Sarah Key (Joshua Goldberg) and Jennifer Key; his grandchildren, Christopher, Jr., Isabella, Angelina, Araceli, Gabriel, Ash, Tanner, Dylan, Elizabeth and Benjamin; and his siblings, Roger Witting (Pirrko) and Thomas Witting (Ellen Woodworth).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home & Crematory (4143 Dale Blvd, Dale City, VA 22193). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the National Memorial Cemetery (18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA 22172).
