He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Gail D.; his children, Richard T. Uhorchuk, Jr. (Roseann), Brian Uhorchuk and April Lyons (Ralph); his grandchildren, Alexis, Eric, Jadyn, Dylan Jean, Alexa, Jared, Nevaeh, Madilyn, Leighna, Brooks, Harlow and Presley; and his siblings, Anne Purzycki, Jane Smith, Michael Uhorchuk and Johnny Uhorchuk. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
