With sadness, we share the passing of Solange M. Nelson of Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Solange passed away on May 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Alice'Martins. She is survived by: her husband Rick Nelson; her daughter Alice'Nascimento (Paxton Winters); her stepsons, Anthony and Richard Nelson (Alexandra Nelson); her granddaughter Zaya; her stepgrandsons, Caleb and Dylan Nelson; her niece Luana Martins (Silva); and her siblings, Claudia Maria Martins, Silva, Leda Maria Martins and Jair Dantas.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in memory of Solange Nelson to the Doman International Institute, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering parents and helping their children with special needs achieve their fullest potential. Memorial donations made in Solange's honor will provide resources, education, and hope to families to accomplish what once seemed impossible for their special needs children.
