He was predeceased by: his parents, Judith Shpeen and Dr. Harold Shpeen. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Greenberg; his children, Samantha Kivowitz (David) of Hoboken, NJ, Archie and Dr. Benjamin Shpeen (Hannah Katz); his siblings, Rabbi Scott Shpeen (late Susan) of Albany, NY and Mariam Feist (Robert) of Jacksonville, FL; his niece Hilary Brownstein (Josh); his nephews, Adam Shpeen (Emily Farber), Jacob and Max Feist; and his sister-in-law Ilene Nowak (Chris).
