He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Bemiss and Doris Bemiss; and his siblings, Pauline Bemiss, Jackie Wilson and Carl Gergely.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey Bemiss (Christine), Devon Leonard (Valerie) and Allen Simmerman; his grandchildren, Gary Bemiss, RJ Nagel and Noelle Kulakowski; and his siblings, George Gergely (Jean Marie), Joan Kania and Helen Saville (Paul). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
