He was predeceased by : his parents, Patrick J. Rowan, Sr. and Marion B. Rowan; his brother Patrick J. Rowan, Jr.; and his brother-in-law William P. Hook, Jr.. He is survived by : his sisters, Kathleen M. Rowan and Maryann Hook; his aunt Margaret Keenan; his niece Patricia M. Hook; his godchildren, Steven Marini and Maura M. Aguilar; his friend Ray; and his cousin Reene (Phillies).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Mary's R. C. Church (426 Monmouth St, Gloucester City, NJ 08030). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
