She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ross Murrell of Louisiana and Amelie Ellis Murrell; and her husband Alan Derrick. She is survived by: her friend Alan; her sons, David Derrick (Lisa Beegle), John Derrick and Ross Derrick (Dawn); her grandson Alan Derrick II; her great grandchild Ronin Derrick; and her brother Eugene Murrell. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
