He was predeceased by: his parents, Emberson Ardis and Ethel Ardis; his wife Catherine Ardis; his brother Mark B. Ardis; and his niece Barbara.
He is survived by: his sister Margaret Webb; his sister-in-law Anastasia "Stasi" Carumpalos; and his nieces and nephews, Susan, Christine, Jan, Bob, Ann and David.
