She was predeceased by: her sons, Dr. James Mayes II (Susan) and Wayne Edmondson; and her grandson Jimmy Mayes III. She is survived by: her children, William Mayes, Scott Mayes (Linda), Dottie McKenzie (John) and Lisa Childs (Jim); her siblings, William Horswood (Sylvia) and Linda Wildgust (Jim); and her grandchildren, Audrey Herr (Mike), Dana LeMunyon (Tom), Teresa LeMunyon, Johnny LeMunyon (Glendy), Lauren Tonzelli (Tony), Jimmy Childs, Scott Mayes Jr. (Lex), Kevin Mayes (Lizzy) and Brian Mayes. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Central Baptist Church (514 Maple Ave, Palmyra, NJ 08065). A prayer will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Audrey's memory to the Central Baptist Church.
