He was predeceased by : his parents, Gene Monroe and Mary Monroe; his wife Gerri; and his stepsons, Vinny and Sean Turvey.
He is survived by : his children, Susie Downing (Matt) and EJ Monroe (Kenthia); his grandchildren, Brendan Downing (Lisa), Morgan Ward (Evan), Erin Downing (Stephanie), Callan Downing (Kelton), Tommy Monroe and Scott Monroe (Cleah); and his sister Grace Baldree. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
