James leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. James’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Hunter and Marie Hunter; and his son Christopher J. Hunter. He is survived by: his wife Marion; his daughter Sheri Hunter; his daughter-in-law Claire Hunter; his grandchildren, Christopher Hunter, Jr., Emma Hunter and Dylan Hunter; and his sister Sandra Szeliga.

Viewing will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Weber Funeral Home (112 Broad St, Riverton, NJ 08077). A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lakeview Memorial Park (1300 US-130, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077).
