With sadness, we share the passing of Mercedez Durkin of Cinnaminson, New Jersey. Mercedez passed away on August 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Pablo Rivera Sr.; and her brother Rey Rivera of Pennsauken. She is survived by: her husband Neil Durkin; her son Christopher Durkin of Cinnaminson; her mother Olga Rivera of Pennsauken; and her siblings, Pablo Rivera of Carthage, N. C., Eddie Rivera of Pennsauken, Jose Rivera of Atco, Wanda Fiandra of Sicklerville, Elvia Cianfrani of Pennsauken and Kathleen Tapp of Voorhees. She is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews, and 21 grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

In lieu of flowers or as a remembrance to her, the family requests donations in her name be made to the Ritz Theater Company in Oaklyn. Donations can be made at http://www.ritztheatreco.org..
