It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Florence Romano of Clark, New Jersey, who passed away on October 25, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carmelo Scialfo and Nicolina Scialfo (Marino); her husband Michael Romano; her son-in-law James G. Restaino; and her siblings, Michael Scialfo, Angelo Scialfo, Josephine Scialfo, Beatrice Scardaville and Rose Mucario.
She is survived by: her daughter Nadine Restaino; her grandchildren, James Restaino, Nicholas Restaino and Danielle Webb (Gary); and her great grandchildren, Valentina Restaino, Mia Restaino, Preston Webb and Hunter Restaino. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Krowicki Gorny Memorial (803 Raritan Rd, Clark, NJ 07066). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Helen's RC Church (1600 Rahway Ave, Westfield, NJ 07090). A burial was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Hazel Wood Cemetery (64 W Lake Ave, Colonia, NJ 07066).
