It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter J. Majek (Clark, New Jersey), who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Kay; his brother Ralph; his sister-in-law Ruth Majek; his children, Cheryl (Jamie), Tim (Karyl), Michele (Steve) and Denise (Joe); and his grandchildren, Jesse, Chris Reed, Kaitlyn, Brian Majek, Matthew, Austin, Tyler, Nick White, Ryan and Kayla Kovacs. He is also survived by his friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Walter Johnson Funeral Home (803 Raritan Rd, Clark, NJ 07066). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rosedale Cemetery (355 E Linden Ave, Linden, NJ 07036).
Gifts in lieu of flowers may be made in Walt's memory to the Woodbridge Animal Shelter and sent to Woodbridge Animal Control, 2 George Frederick Plaza, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.
