He was predeceased by : his son Keith A. Costill; his parents, Harold Elwood and Elizabeth Costill; and his brother Robert S. Costill. He is survived by : his significant other Shirley Marie Costill; his daughter Karen Watson (Ken); his siblings, Harold K. Costill (Brud), Allan Costill and Joan Burke; and his grandchildren, Danielle Walker (Tom), Kenneth Rothwein Jr. (Laura), Michael Rothwein, Kristine Costill, Jennifer Costill, Jason Watson (Laura) and Kallie Cartwright (Michael).

He enjoyed working as the First Base Gate Staff Supervisor until COVID shut down the season last March.
