With sadness, we share the passing of Howard Joseph Roun Sr. (Clayton, New Jersey). Howard, born on September 16, 1945 in Camden, New Jersey, passed away on October 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine Grace "Cass" Roun; his son Howard J. Roun, Jr. (Amanda); his siblings, Gene Roun and Betty Ann Bates; his parents, David Edward and Ann Belle Roun; and his parents-in-law, Lois Jean Fowler and Samuel R. DiStephano.
He is survived by: his daughter Denise A. Metcalf (Barry, Sr.); his grandchildren, Barry Metcalf, Jr. (Katie) and Jessica Price (Martin); his great grandchildren, Maxine and Cassidy Metcalf; and his sister Ruth Gallagher.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Barclay Funeral Home (208 Maple St, Clayton, NJ 08312). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
