Though Melissa may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her brother James W. "Jimmy" Shuey, Jr.; and her parents, James Walter and Norma Lee Shuey. She is survived by: her son Scott Alan Ressler, Jr. (Victoria); her grandchildren, Daniel Ressler and Sarah Ressler; and her siblings, Tamra Bowman, Deirdre Donnachie, Jannette MacDaid and Kerry Shuey. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
