With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alice E Longmire (Clementon, New Jersey), born in Lafollette, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Alice left this world on June 11, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Longmire; and her parents, Gillis Foust and Lizzie Foust. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Jean, Marvin (Linda), Steven (Helen) of Stratford, Debra Burnett (Stephen) of Stratford, Judy of Stratford and Violet Marley (Craig) of Stratford; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara and Jeanie Longmire. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Laurel Springs Baptist Church (35 Madison Ave, Laurel Springs, NJ 08021).
